The defending District champions will play Bishop McDevitt Saturday for third place.

The Boiling Springs field hockey team will not defend its District 3, Class A title after losing a 2-0 decision to Susquenita Wednesday in a semifinal round game.

Susquenita , who defeated West Perry in the quarterfinals, got two unassisted goals from Aubrey Richards in the first and fourth quarters. The Blackhawks will face Oley Valley in the Class A final Saturday at 11 a.m at Landis Field. Oley Valley defeated Bishop McDevitt in the other Class A semifinal.
