Culinary traditions have taken center court for the Boerne tennis team as four Greyhounds qualified for the state tournament Thursday. Before each tournament, the Greyhounds gather for a pre-match meal at Mary ’s Tacos in Boerne . “ Mary ’s Tacos is the spot, man,” Boerne ’s Ben Rowe said. “That's the cheat code.” Rowe and his doubles teammate, Nick Dube , secured victory by sweeping Tuloso-Midway 's Abram Botello and Michael Moreau in the Region IV-4A final at Blossom Athletic Center .

But to battle through the adversity we had in the first match was awesome. So it feels really good.
