Boerne rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Louisiana and advance to next week's Little League Baseball World Series.
With one sweet swing Tuesday night, Doc Mogford pulled Boerne out from its hole and set it on historic path to the Little League Baseball World Series. The center fielder’s grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning gave Boerne a 6-3 lead over Louisiana at Marvin Norcross Stadium in Waco . That would stand as the final score in the Southwest Region Tournament championship game.

They will face the winner of the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament on Aug. 15. The game will be televised by ESPN.
