Their statement warns airlines to inspect specific switches in the cockpit.
According to these sources, one of the flight attendants activated a switch on the pilot’s seat while serving a meal. This led to the aircraft’s sharp nosedive. Imagine the turmoil the entire crew must have felt in those precious few minutes. At the same time, Boeing refrained from commenting further on the incident. Still, the US Federal Aviation Administration announced the formation of a Corrective Action Review Board . This board will have some safety experts who will investigate the matter and provide feedback to Boeing.
