There may be an end in sight to the firefighter lockout at Boeing.

The union, which has approximately 125 members stationed at sites across the Puget Sound and Moses Lake, has been locked out during contract negotiations since May 4. Boeing confirmed to KOMO News it made a new offer to theunion that represents firefighters who work at Boeing facilities in Washington state.
According to Boeing, the new offer includes pay increases, health care coverage, and a 401 plan. Boeing said the raises, if approved by union members, would push the average take-home pay to $112,000 in the first year of the contract, compared to an average $91,000 take-home pay last year.put out a social media post on Monday reporting
The Graham Fire Department has the closest medic unit to the Fredrickson plant. A spokesperson for the GFD told KOMO News the dispatch log shows the Graham unit was on another call, so dispatch sent the next closest unit, which came from Central Pierce County Fire, which is just more than four miles from the plant.
