Body recovered from River Clyde in search for missing Shettleston woman Shona McKenna
A body has been recovered from the River Clyde in the search for missing Glasgow woman Shona McKenna.While formal identification has yet to take place, Police Scotland stated they believe it to be Shona, 46, from Shettleston, who was reported missing on January 9. Officers have been in touch with her family.Police confirmed her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: "Around 12.20pm, Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, police received report of a woman’s body being found in the River Clyde near Dalmarnock. "A formal identification is still to take place, however, officers believe it to be 46-year-old Shona McKenna, missing from the Shettleston area.
