Authorities in Cleburne County believe they have discovered the body of Vendula 'Wendy' Rose, a Marysville woman who went missing in October.

Authorities found items in Rose's vehicle that suggested she may have been experiencing a mental health crisis, including a magazine and a box of ammunition missing seven rounds. Authorities said Rose's family shared that she has been interested in the Appalachian and Pinhoti Trails, and based on this information, they have reason to believe she may be traveling the Pinhoti Trail toward the Dugger Mountain area north of the park.
