PETALING JAYA: Expressway technicians conducting checks on a stretch of the North-South Expressway were shocked to stumble upon the body of a man there.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said police received a call on Wednesday at around 1.40pm.
The caller said workers found the body of a fully-clothed man in a ditch at KM460 of the North-South Expressway heading south. "The workers were visiting the site to measure out missing cables in the area for purchasing and maintenance purposes," he said. The initial investigation found several missing cables, fuses and wires, leading police to believe that the deceased might have been electrocuted when he tried to steal the cables.
