He was found by hikers
The body of a hiker has been found more than a year after his disappearance in the Highlands. Humza Khan's family said he had slipped and fell in a remote area of terrain and his remains were discovered by fellow hikers last month.
Humza's family described him as being someone who was "adventurous" and had a "great love of the outdoors" when paying tribute. "He was believed to have died but without a body it was unclear whether or not we should proceed with a janazah at that stage.Top news stories today "It is with great sadness that we inform you that we recently received news from Police Scotland that a body was found in the Scottish highlands by a couple who were hiking in the region.
"It has been established by the accidental deaths unit at Police Scotland that he slipped and fell in remote, hilly and rocky terrain."
