Wednesday while trying to save two children, Houston Police Department officials said.
Around 10:15 a.m. Friday, dive team members found a body underneath a bridge over Brays Bayou, near Texas Spur 5 and Wheeler Avenue, investigators said. The body hasn’t been positively identified, but looks similar to the description of the man who went missing Wednesday. Officers around 7 p.m. Wednesday got a call that someone had fallen into the bayou near the 2500 block of North MacGregor Way, about a 4 mile drive away from where the body was found. Witnesses said two children had slipped and fallen into the bayou and two men tried to save them.
