PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Painesville Police and other responding agencies recovered a body from the Grand River while searching for a missing man last week. According to a release from Painesville Police, at around 9 a.
m., officers and crews from the Ohio Search and Rescue Team and Painesville City Fire and Rescue responded to the area of Beaty Landing and the Grand River to continue a coordinated K-9 cadaver search for a missing man. During the search, responders said they found a dead man submerged in the Grand River near the East Walnut Street Bridge.According to the release, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
