West Mercia Police issued an appeal to help find 88-year-old Pamela Rushton on Tuesday afternoon, asking anyone with information to call 999 immediately.
She had been reported missing from her home in Crudgington, near Telford.A statement said:"Unfortunately, last night officers searching for Pamela found a body.
