Police have confirmed that a body has been discovered during the search for 29-year-old Dean Clark who had been reported missing from the Garthamlock area on Sunday night.
Dean Clark was last seen in the Cambusmore Place area around 10.15pm on Sunday night. Police launched an urgent search to trace the 29-year-old following concerns for his welfare.
They have now confirmed that the body of a man was discovered on Monday morning and Dean's family have been informed. "He is yet to be formally identified by the family of Dean Clark, 29, who had been reported missing, has been informed. There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
