Body found in search for 17-year-old missing after swimming with friends

BREAKING: A body has been found by police during the search for a 17-year-old boy who did not resurface while playing in a river with friends.

Police were called to the scene at the River Thames in Gloucestershire at around 10pm yesterday

All of the other people who were swimming at the time are accounted for, and some assisted police in the search. Gloucestershire Constabulary has said its thoughts are with the boy’s family and friends at this distressing time.The river at Lechlade on Thames, where the group were playing yesterday
