Boston Police Department officers discovered a deceased individual at approximately 1:52 p.m. on Saturday within the residence located at 25 Malta Street in the Mattapan neighborhood.
The discovery followed a police response to a call at that address. A law enforcement officer was subsequently stationed at the property's entrance, and red crime scene tape was erected along the picket fence,remaining in venue throughout the afternoon. The seven-bedroom home is owned by Conan Harris,who is the husband of U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley. According to a statement from police spokesperson Officer James Moccia, officers arrived at the scene shortly after the initial call.
Realtor Chantae Turner, who listed the property, indicated it had been on the market for about one month and stated she wasn't aware of any specIfics regarding the ongoing investigation. authorities have not released the identity of the deceased, and there is currently no indication that foul play was involved in the incident.
