The Olympian, 45, revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that his toddler got “really sick” after a construction crane was parked outside their home.
“We took that same ambulance to the same hospital we took Emmy to but this time we got to leave with our child,” the former volleyball player wrote.
“I am reminded to slow down and realize life’s little gifts during this crazy holiday season because we already have everything we need,” she added. “Our loved ones, our health and more time.at a neighbor’s home. Along with Asher, the pair share daughter Scarlet Olivia, 1, and sons Aksel, 3, Easton, 4, and Nash, 7.“It’s been 5 years. On the night of her birth our midwife @lindseymeehleis noted that Emmy was ‘here to change the world.’ 5 years after her loss, I can see it,” he wrote
“Emmy was fearless, determined and fierce from the moment she was born. We miss you Emmy. 19 months was never going to be long enough to hold you in our arms.” The athlete also has a 10-year-old son Nate and 14-year-old daughter Dace from previous relationships.
