'Bob's Burger' actor Jay Johnstone sentenced to a year and a day in prison for Jan. 6.

Actor Jay Johnston emerges from the U.S. District Courthouse in Washington, Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, after been sentenced to one year in prison of officers during civil disorder, unlawful entry on restricted buildings or grounds, and impeding passage through Capitol grounds. He told U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols that participating in the Capitol attack was a “horrible oversight,” with the judge describing his actions as both “problematic” and “reprehensible.

” The photos were confirmed to be Johnston, who was arrested in Los Angeles in June 2023. at the Capitol, Johnston had “pushed against police and aided other rioters near an entrance to the U.S. Capitol known as ‘the tunnel,’” and had “assisted other rioters in handing up U.S. Capitol Police shields” that they’d wretched from law enforcement attempting to prevent their entrance to the building.
