At the Oscars, 'A Complete Unknown' is going up against other films like “Emilia Pérez” and 'Wicked' in the best picture category.
Because if I can actually do it, why should there be an element of artifice here? And I’m proud that we took that leap,” the actor noted in a featurette released before the film premiered. The film's producer, Peter Jaysen, revealed on the Ringer podcasst 'The Town' that Dylan himself had approval and “meaningful input” over the script.
