A trailer containing five boats was taken from the A702 between Abington and Crawford, on Thursday, September 14. They were due to compete in the Monster the Loch event next weekend.

A business has been left saddened after a trailer and five racing boats were allegedly stolen from near the Lanarkshire M74. The boats were due to compete in the Monster the Loch event, at Loch Ness, next weekend.

It is understood that the alleged theft took place in the early hours of Thursday morning leaving Swift Racing - who own the boats - gutted.
