But Jensen scored his first of the year at 7:43 and Batherson made it 3-2 with his sixth with 5:33 remaining.Ottawa had a scary moment on a power play midway through the first period when Josh Norris’ shot deflected off Ryan Pulock and caught Stutzle hard in the forehead.Senators: Defenseman Artem Zub returned after missing nine games with a concussion. He was on the top pairing with Jake Sanderson.
With 1:38 remaining in the second period, Pageau beat Sanderson in a battle for the puck and broke in alone to beat Forsberg high on the stick side.
