BN files 3 election petitions with EC, says Isham

UMNO Information chief Isham Jalil today confirmed that Barisan Nasional has filed three election petitions with the Election Commission to challenge the outcome of the general election held last November.“Three petitions have been filed by us to seek re-elections at these constituencies.
The petition was filed by Mohd Azmi Mahmood on behalf of Tengku Razaleigh on January 3 and named Gua Musang elected representative Mohd Azizi Abu Naim of Perikatan Nasional , returning officer Ab Fatah Hasbullah and the EC as respondents. Tengku Razaleigh failed to defend the seat after 12 terms and lost by a slim majority of 163 votes to Mohd Azizi. – Bernama, January 13, 2023.
