However, BEV sales dropped by 6 percent, with 139,300 registrations and a reduced market share of 13.5 percent. Felipe Munoz, Global Analyst at Dynamics, commented, “The lack of clarity around the incentives for - and future of - EVs continues to present a barrier to consumers considering an EV. These factors, alongside the low residual value of EVs contributed to the decline seen in July.” The Dacia Sandero remains the top-selling car overall In other news, the ICE-powered Dacia Sandero held its ground as Europe’s best-selling car, with 22,400 units sold in July, a 34 percent increase.
