The video, as seen at the top of the article, pokes fun at some of the latest DC movie's familiarity in the larger superhero genre, namely the similarities of its family-focused themes to fellow DC entry Shazam! and its sequel Fury of the Gods.
Why Blue Beetle Is Struggling At The Box Office Despite the stronger reviews from critics and audiences, Blue Beetle has continued DC's struggles at the box office, currently having grossed just over $85 million against its $104 million production budget.
While it's unclear how the movie will perform heading into its third weekend, a variety of factors can be considered for its ongoing box office struggles. The larger reason is that of the upcoming DC Universe reboot from new studio CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, which has left many unclear as to how important Blue Beetle or The Flash are for these plans, in spite of Gunn assuring the former hero is the first character in his new universe.
