SAN FRANCISCO — Fog created unsafe weather conditions that forced the Blue Angels to cancel their scheduled show for Saturday afternoon, officials announced on social media.
The Blue Angels, a United States Navy flight demonstration squadron, performed their air show on Friday afternoon and had been scheduled to conduct shows at 3 p.m. today and again at 3 on Sunday as part of San Francisco Fleet Week celebrations. While the show was canceled Saturday after an observation flight was conducted, San Francisco Fleet Week Association officials encouraged the public to observe Sunday’s demonstrations.
