This flyover was a loud and quick preview of what people can expect for the upcoming weekend.
“We love it. Just excited to see both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels,” Mark Gray said.
“And to see them together is just awesome. We’re from Texas. We’re RV’ing and we happened to be here at the right time,” Jane Gray said. “We see the Blue Angels at the beach all the time. But this is going to be special,” Nozomi McEvoy said. And it’s not just special for the residents, but for downtown as well. And it won’t just be for today. The Thunderbirds will be sticking around all weekend for the show.
“The Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds together you don’t see it very often. So what a cool experience that we’re going to have here in downtown Pensacola. Not only today but really throughout the weekend. You’ve got the entire show going on at the base. The Blue Angels are home here in Pensacola NAS. So we’re excited,” Executive Director of the Downtown Improvement Board Walker Wilson said.
