Bloomberg warns that America's public school system is failing, places some of the blame at teachers unions

Bloomberg published an op-ed written by Michael Bloomberg on Thursday which warned that declining enrollment in public schools represents a declining quality in education quality.

In states and cities with strong accountability laws, charters have a proven academic track record of outperforming district schools," Bloomberg wrote."One recent nationwide analysis found that districts with a higher share of charters yield higher reading and math scores as well as higher graduation rates on average.
