As the franchise continues to grow, a new The Witcher: Blood Origin video promises that the highly-anticipated upcoming Netflix show will provide answers to many of The Witcher's mysteries. The new limited series is a prequel to the popular fantasy television show, The Witcher.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY With the series set to premiere on Christmas day, Netflix released a new The Witcher: Blood Origin video which promises to provide answers for The Witcher's many mysteries. Titled The Witcher: Blood Origin: A Beginner's Guide, the video uses enthusiastic narration to give a new glimpse into the Elven world of the prequel show while assuring that questions regarding the Conjunction of the Spheres and the origin of monsters will be answered.
The Witcher: Blood Origin will center on a rag-tag group of seven unlikely compatriots who must work together to combat the forces of evil that threaten the realm. Scian serves as one of the team's most experience fighter. A former warrior of the Elven Ghost Clan, her people were betrayed by the King of Xintrea causing her to align with the Raven Clan. There she mentored and trained Éile in combat, however, Éile rejected the sword and aims to become a musician.
However, fans of the original The Witcher series will be greeted by a friendly returning face despite the show's earlier time period. The show's latest trailer features the traveling bard Jaskier arriving a millennium before his existence through the use of magic performed by the mysterious mage Seanchai .
