A man formerly convicted of aggravated robbery is facing new charges after police found drops of his blood at the scene of a home burglary.

WESTLAKE , Ohio -

Westlake Police Cpt. Gerald Vogel said detectives were able to track down the suspect from the scene of the burglary, located on Roseland Way. The initial burglary happened around 7:20 a.m. on July 7, when Cpt. Vogel said the residents found fur coats discarded and discovered their home had been broken into while they were inside.

Cpt. Vogel said officers arrested the suspect, a 38-year-old from Akron, and found the stolen property on July 31.
