.SecBlinken announces additional $725 million in military aid to Ukraine
The announcement was made in a statement from Blinken, obtained by the Washington Examiner. The newest aid package is the 23rd since August of last year and brings the total amount of U.S. military aid to Ukraine to an unprecedented $18.3 billion since the beginning of the Biden administration.
Blinken said the list of weapons was"carefully calibrated to make the most difference on the battlefield for Ukraine."The United States's advanced Patriot missile defense system has shot up to the top of Ukraine's wish list since the largest missile strike since the beginning of the war this week.
