The pop-punk titans took over Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center Friday night
Blink-182 played Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia Friday night. Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 is seen here performing during the fourth day of the Estereo Picnic music Festival at Simón Bolívar park in Bogota, Colombia on March 24, 2024.
The night was indeed a wire-to-wire sort of bonanza, as the band touched every era from “Carousel” — the first song they ever wrote — to a new, wistful unreleased track called “Can’t Go Back,” led by Hoppus. Hoppus, who wore a Flyers hockey jersey with “Gritty” on the back, made sure to ding the crowd for infamously throwing batteries at Santa Claus — “you need therapy in Philadelphia,” DeLonge chimed in — before noting how this Wells Fargo show was the band’s largest arena concert on the tour.
