As a result, fans can expect episode #3 to air on October 19, 2024, at 7:30 AM PT/10:30 AM ET.
Yhwach revealed that only a being with the powers of a human, a Soul Reaper, a Quincy, a Fullbringer, and a Hollow could manage to do that, and thus Ichigo had to be the one to strike down the Soul King on Yhwach's behalf. Ichigo is understandably horrified at what he has done, and his friends are completely stunned at the sight of the bisected Soul King.
Meanwhile, up in the Soul King's Palace, Yhwach's elite guard will reconvene with him, giving Ichigo and friends a much more difficult group to defeat than the already-impossibly strong Yhwach. That means encountering Uryu again as well, who, with his new fight against Senjumaru, has affirmed his allegiance to Yhwach.
