What Happened in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode #23? Episode #23 of Thousand-Year Blood War continued the battle between Mayuri and his zombies versus Giselle and her zombies. Mayuri pulled out a particularly nasty trick, locking the zombified Hitsugaya in a time loop, resetting each time he killed Mayuri.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode #24 Will Finally Show Yhwach Vs. Squad Zero Yhwach finished ascending to the Soul King's Palace at the end of episode #23, and his confrontation with Squad Zero will be the first big fight for the legendary Soul Reapers. Up first will be Tenjiro Kirinji, the master of the hot springs, ready to greet Yhwach, Uryu, and Haschwalth as they arrive.
The end of this cour of episodes of Bleach is fast approaching, with a double-episode finale set to be released at the end of the month, just like with the first cour. The conflict between the Quincy and the Soul Society is coming to a head, and Yhwach's goals remain a mystery to both the Soul Reapers and the audience. Regardless of that fact, though, he's closer than ever to realizing it, meaning it's critically important to stop him here.
