On August 9, the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us will hit theaters, telling the story of a woman struggling to leave an abusive relationship. Ahead of the release, Blake Lively—who portrays main character Lily Bloom—sat down for a conversation with Hoover, in which they talked about the book, bringing the story to the screen, and more. For her “tea time” with the writer, Lively looked lovely in a frilly white set from Bode.
In the images, captured by Jade Greene, we see the pearly set included a high-waisted, tulle maxi skirt that looked like a giant tutu . The flowy bottom was paired with a spaghetti-strap bra top and matching cropped jacket, and all of it was adorned with beaded embroidery.At first glance, it may have appeared the actor’s fit was just decorated with rustic imagery.
