Lively and Baldoni's case is scheduled to proceed to court on Monday, with Lively's legal team prepared to argue for a gag order. They have criticized Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, for making numerous public statements that could potentially bias the jury if the case reaches a courtroom. Lively's legal team argues that these statements, aimed at damaging the 'character, credibility, reputation' of various parties, threaten to undermine both the Lively case and a related case involving Wayfarer Studios. Baldoni's legal team, on the other hand, intends to depose Lively as soon as possible. However, Lively reportedly has refused to allow Freedman to lead the deposition, claiming she has the right to choose which attorney conducts it.
