Warning: Spoilers for Blade #2!A new role has been thrust upon Blade as he overcomes his biggest weakness. In his new self-titled series, the Daywalker is convinced to protect mild-mannered Dana Smith from an immortal occultist warrior, whom Blade is warned to be a great evil hunting Dana for unknown reasons. After Blade kills the warrior, he quickly discovers he's been set up and that Dana is the great evil, and that she now holds the one weapon that could kill her.
Blade is Picking Up Sidekicks It was only recently in Marvel Unlimited's Infinity series, Blade: First Bite by Bryan Edward Hill and Mack Chater , that Blade's biggest weakness was pointed out to him. When speaking of his past adventures with the Midnight Sons, Blade admits that he viewed them as a family before he left. He insists on leaving because he's convinced that he works better alone.
