Blade's daughter meets Spider-Man.
Warning: Spoilers for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #10!The daughter of Blade, Bloodline, is having her first team-up with none other than Spider-Man Miles Morales. Among his latest problems on hand, Miles has been dealing with a new local anti-vigilante task force called the Cape Killers. More recently, he has a run-in with one of its members - High-Tail - but is able to escape her clutches.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT However, right after that run-in, he encounters something even deadlier in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #10 by Cody Ziglar, Partha Pratim, Federico Sabbatini, Bryan Valenza, and VC's Cory Petit. At the conclusion of the issue, Miles is attacked by what appears to be a vampire. The vamp's head gets decapitated in the knick of time by a sword belonging to Blade, joined alongside by his daughter, Bloodline.
Blade and His Daughter Meet Spider-Man Blade's daughter, Brielle, first rose to prominence earlier this year through the miniseries, Bloodline: Daughter of Blade. The 16-year-old half-human half-vampire has been protected all these years by a spell crafted by Doctor Strange that broke when he died. Now that all things bump in the night are coming after her, she's taken up being trained by her father to combat it, adopting the name Bloodline soon afterward.
Bloodline Continues to Inch To the Forefront of Marvel Brielle has been in the process of carving out a legacy for herself, one that could see her becoming an Avenger in due time. It seems evident that Marvel has slowly begun integrating Bloodline properly within the Marvel Universe, slowly building up her credibility and presence among the universe's emerging heroes.
One of the few boxes she has yet to check is to be a part of her own superhero team-up. The end of Miles Morales: Spider-Man #10 teases the team-up to come in the next issue. The Spider-Man name carries a lot of weight both in the Marvel Universe and the superhero community in general. Joining forces with Spider-Man helps Brielle begin her superhero run with a bang.
