A mixed bag 😬
Thousands of spectators are set to swoop into Blackpool and line the promenade to catch of glimpse of the annual air show this weekend. And if they are planning what to take with them, they're likely to need both raincoats and sunglasses, with the weather forecast mixed across Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures on August 12 and 13 are not set match the 25C predicted for this Thursday , either, with Saturday reaching a high of 19C and Sunday a little cooler at 18C.Met Office forecasters say there is a 50% chance of rain showers for the duration of the flypasts on Saturday, with the Red Arrows launching the event by taking to the skies at 2pm.
The flight schedule is the same for Sunday, which will see a 40% chance of rain from 10am through to 4pm, before it eases off. Visitors to the seafront can also expect intermittent sunshine peaking from behind the clouds throughout the afternoon.
