2025's Black Phone 2 is a sequel to the hit 2022 Joe Hill adaptation The Black Phone and features the return of director and co-writer Scott Derrickson, co-writer C. Robert Cargill, and stars Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, and Ethan Hawke, among others. Per Variety, as of Sunday morning, Black Phone 2 is projected to end its first weekend in theaters by hitting a 3-day total of $42 million at the global box office.
