Exclusive: BlackPantherWakandaForever producer Nate Moore shared the chances of XMen's Storm coming to Wakanda & which other Marvel characters he wants to see join: 'We might be a few years out from the X-Men, so I'm not sure we're there yet.' 🤔

Black Panther 2 producer Nate Moore revealed the likelihood of X-Men's Storm coming to Wakanda and shared which other Marvel characters he'd like to see make an appearance. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is introducing Namor and his underwater kingdom Talokan into the MCU. Coogler planned to tease Namor in Black Panther, but the initial idea was scrapped. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will take inspiration from the comics with the two nations coming into conflict.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY There are a number of other popular Marvel characters with ties to Wakanda, including X-Men's Storm. In the comics, Storm plays an important role in Wakanda—even ruling over the country as Queen with her then-husband T'Challa. The MCU has slowly been introducing Mutants, which will likely culminate in the X-Men down the line. Marvel has also teased the coming superhero team with the 90s X-Men animated series theme playing in Ms.

"Well, Storm's relationship with Wakanda in publishing is pretty interesting. Obviously, we might be a few years out from the X-Men, so I'm not sure we're there yet. Who else from Wakanda have we not introduced? I mean, there's a pretty deep bench, actually. And especially, I think, Ta-Nehisi's run introduced a lot of key characters that would be fun to export. Even characters like Vibraxas, which are more Fantastic Four characters.

Which Other Marvel Characters Would Fit In Well With Wakanda After Black Panther 2? Moore seems to hint at Storm possibly appearing in Wakanda in the future by referencing her publishing history, but if it does happen, it will be a few years away. Perhaps more intriguing is Moore specifically talking about Vibraxas, aka N'Kano. N'Kano is a Wakandan hero who is exposed and infused with energized vibranium, giving him the ability to manipulate the powerful metal.

Storm's primary connection to Wakanda in the comics is T'Challa, but with the character having died in the MCU, how exactly the X-Men could be connected to Wakanda remains a mystery. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailers have featured a number of new characters including Michaela Coel's Aneka in armor reminiscent of the Midnight Angels.
