Black Lightning, a critically acclaimed superhero series, is set to leave Netflix for international viewers on February 9th. The departure is effective for regions where the show carries the 'Netflix Original' branding. This marks the beginning of the end for Arrowverse fans outside the United States, as all CW shows are expected to leave Netflix in the coming months. Fans in the US have more time, with Black Lightning remaining on the platform until September 1, 2026.

Arrowverse fans are about to have a much harder time watching one of the franchise’s most critically acclaimed series. According tois set to leave Netflix — at least for international customers — in just a few days on February 9th. The last day to watch the series, which is listed as a Netflix Original outside of the United States, is February 8th. The departure ofonly seems to be effective for regions where the series bears the “Netflix Original” branding.

The series starred Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce, principal of Garfield High School and former superhero Black Lightning who finds himself suiting up again when his daughters, Anissa and Jennifer are kidnapped by The 100 gang led by Tobias Whale . Over the course of the series, both Anissa and Jennifer begin to develop their own powers, becoming the heroes Thunder and Lightning respectively.
