With the likes of British Airways, easyJet, TUI and Jet2 expected to offer big savings when Black Friday falls on November, 24, it could be the perfect time to book your next getaway.

TUI - up to £200 pounds off selected bookings and up to £150 per person in rewards. Discounts were also available of up to £30 per person on short and mid-haul flights and £50 per person on long-haul flights. Jet2 - discounts of between 5 to 50% were available on accommodation and cut-price holidays to a huge range of holiday hot spots. Deposits started from as little as £60 per person.

Wizz Air - there were various discounts on over 3 million seats, flying to various destinations including Tenerife, Rome and Portugal. Wowcher is offering some cut-price two-night stays that are perfect for a bit of pre-Christmas shopping. Fly to the fashion capital of Milan for just £129 per person on November 20, or soak up the peaceful ambience of Lake Garda for £139 per person on the same date.
