Everyone is pulling together!
Due to the current coronavirus outbreak many businesses and individuals have been lending a hand where they can, especially to our wondrous NHS workers have who have been working round the clock to try and help lessen the impact of the disease and save lives.
Starting today all staff will be able to hail a black cab via the newly launched Gett NHS option on the Gett app. All they need to do is present the driver with their NHS photo ID and they will be eligible for £10 rides anywhere in zones 1 to 3. Mark Hillier, a Black Cab driver in London, said: “I think this is a great idea and one that many cab drivers will be delighted to support. We all want to help. I only wish I was in a position to do it for free”.
"It is brilliant that firms like Gett are dedicating their resources so creatively to support NHS workers, and this is just another example of what our trade brings to this city.”
