Long Island will see a breezy, chilly day with highs in the upper 30s.
The first day of December feels more like the middle of winter, but even colder weather is on the way for next week. We also have a storm to track for the middle of the week
Temperatures this morning are by far the coldest they've been so far this season, and in many spots the coldest since February. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today, a brief novelty snowflake is possible. Our next storm arrives Wednesday night, but now it looks mainly dry. Temperatures will near freezing so we will keep an eye on this, but now limited travel impacts are expected. Behind this is a very stiff breeze on Thursday and then brutal cold for Friday and next weekend.
