Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer has entered into a leasing agreement for a site in Ohio, as the company seeks to expand operations by 570 MW of power.
The 30-year leasing agreement with the Monroe County Port Authority will provide Bitdeer with up to 570 MW of additional power capacity.
According to the company’s announcement, the site previously featured an aluminium factory and has the necessary power infrastructure to host Bitdeer's mining operations.
