Bitcoin fell below $30,000 again as investors worldwide fret about the Delta variant and what it means for the next stage of the coronavirus pandemic.
New Delhi
The cryptocurrency is down roughly 6% over the last 24 hours, according to Coindesk. Other cryptocurrencies also fell: Ethereum is down about 7%, while dogecoin, the crypto that started as a meme currency, also slid nearly 7%. Bitcoin was last trading at about $29,800 per coin on Tuesday, its lowest level since last month. The fall comes after Wall Street was hit hard Monday by anxiety over the recent spread of Covid-19 and the threat it poses to the economic recovery.
