Data from Farside Investors shows that U.S.-listed spot bitcoin ETFs bled roughly $1.2 billion worth of BTC between Aug. 27 and Sept. 6. The eight straight days of net outflows marked the longest streak of outflows that the ETFs have experienced since launching on Jan. 12.

The bleeding of the funds seems worrisome on the surface but some analysts say that this is more likely a sign of healthy growth. Senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, Eric Balchunas called it a two steps forward one step back situation saying that this is how quote many ETF categories are born and mature.
