Reece Walsh was in the spotlight long before the NRL Grand Final got underway.
The Brisbane Broncos fullback stole the limelight as he walked into the rooms looking more like a rock star than an NRL player.The Penrith Panthers got off their team bus with a boombox pumping, but they had nothing on what Walsh brought to the party.
Cameron Smith cracked up on Channel 9 when he caught a glimpse of Walsh: “He has got a bit of swagger. Look at him?” As the Broncos defended their own line, holding off a rampant Panthers attack, Walsh was seen hobbling in back play. The injury concerns continued to pile up during the opening 40 minutes as Panther star Nathan Cleary was seen having treatment done on his knee.
