Officials with Yellowstone National Park say the 25-year-old woman from Grove City, Ohio, walked within 10 feet of the bison when she was attacked.

An Ohio woman was gored by a bison Monday at Yellowstone, according to park officials.YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyoming — A 25-year-old Ohio woman is recovering after she was tossed 10 feet into the air Monday morning when she was gored a bison, according to the National Park Service.
It was then the bison attacked the woman, authorities say. The woman suffered a puncture wound and other injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
