The Stallions have had plenty of practice in mastering that lesson because they’ve done practically nothing but win in their three seasons of existence.
In their second season, the Stallions had an 8-2 regular-season mark and won two postseason contests again, this time capping the campaign with ain the USFL Conference Championship Game on June 8 before avenging its only loss of the campaign in the league title contest. The “I think they’re here because they love ball. I think every one of them has a different why like Tez talks about, ‘I was at Amazon; now I’m here.’ If we brought up our whole team, they could all tell their own story of where they’re trying to go and what they’re trying to do. They’re hungry. They’re respectful. They take notes. They ask questions. They’re involved. They want to get better. And for me as a coach my favorite part of coaching is watching a player and a team develop.
