The Valley Spring Behavioral Health Hospital is located at 45 Lower Westfield Road in Holyoke, Mass. Birmingham’s The Sanders Trust has opened a new $72 million hospital in Massachusetts.
The 124,000-square-foot facility features 150 beds, 30 of which are being operated by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. The facility has ample space for psychotherapy, art and occupational therapy, a gymnasium for physical activity and recreation, and access to outdoor spaces. Sanders Trust CEO Rance Sanders said the company is “honored to be a part of constructing hope, healing, and providing a safe haven for those in the Holyoke area.”
